Elyssa Gros-Camerino
FOUNDER, M.S., CCC-SLP
Originally from San Diego, CA, Elyssa moved at the age of 18 to start her professional career at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, USA.
Since then, she has practiced as a Bilingual Speeech-Language Pathologist serving the entire lifespan of individuals in various settings: public schools, private practice, hospitals, long-term healthcare facilities, and telepractice. She has found joy in helping individuals reach their full potential with a specific focus on communication, multi-lingual individuals, social-emotional regulation, preparing young adults for their transition out of the school system, and life skills.
In her late 20s, Elyssa herself discovered that not only did she have C-PTSD, but that she was a neurodivergent individual. It was with this diagnosis that everything in her personal life seemed to become clear, and especially it came clear as to why she seemed to understand her clients on a level that other people did not seem to understand in her professional life. Since her diagnosis, she has used this new understanding of self to empower individuals that she works with and offers a unique perspective allowing her to connect with others.
Additionally, Elyssa realized that there are systemic boundaries that would oftentimes limit her clients from tapping into their true potential.
Her personal and professional experiences inspired Elyssa to start BLOOM, and hopes to connect with and support individuals and families all around the world.

Our Story
WHY WE PLANTED THE SEED
Bloom was founded in 2025 by Elyssa Gros-Camerino and Kat Wasson. A mutual connection led to Elyssa and Kat meeting during the COVID pandemic. A friendship flourished over mutual interests like general vibes, board games, musicals… the list can go on and on.
They decided to take all of their therapy experience and build a business and community that prioritizes and supports the patients and their families. Bloom was created. Bloom’s vision is to see every person for who they are, to enable growth and to recognize an ability to excel is within everyone. Bloom plans to nurture growth, facilitate connection, and to help everyone grow and thrive through music groups, play groups, parent mentorship, and adult/teen mentorship. At Bloom we believe every moment is an opportunity to blossom.
