At Bloom, our Baby Music Groups are targeting children 0 months - 15 months. Babies within this age range are sensorial learners, soaking up experiences within their environment. It is our goal in this group to provide enriching opportunities for your baby by exposing them to:

- Early language development via back and forth interactions furthering your bond with your child

- Exploring new visual, auditory or tactile sensations that provide a foundation for how your baby interprets their world

- Learning tools that can be used in the home to enrich your child’s development

- Exposing your baby to unfamiliar social experiences in a safe way

- Supporting your baby’s language and literacy development through the patterns and repetition in music

A class for our “walkers” (18 months-3 years) , those beginning to understand their own bodies and self-control with movement where we will:

- Refine coordination through explorations with instruments like drums, rhythm sticks, and maracas

- Connect songs and music with motions encouraging control of body muscles 

- Recognize patterns in music to improve ability to memorize, sequence, and predict patterns

- Expand and solidify vocabulary (e.g. high/low, fast/slow)

- Enforce good behavioral skills (e.g. waiting patiently, taking turns, and effective communication & problem solving)

- Express feelings through music and movement within a safe space 

- Caregivers are welcome to play an integral role within our classes with the hope of applying skills to making music within the home environment
